OK so you’re about to walk on to the Golf course and show the world you’re the next Tiger Woods . But first you’ll be wanting the perfect golf swing. There are several ways you’ll want to assess yourself, several strengths you’ll want to bring forth to realise your golfing potential .

Firstly , we’re talking about bettering your range of motion, muscle strength, proper balance, endurance, aerobic capacity, and core strength, . You’ll need to be tough , have lots of toughness and be flexible to hone better golf strokes and   go for breaking that personal best.

In a typical round of golf , you’ll spend hours repeatedly swinging and testing your muscles . Not only that but you’ll spend a lot of time bending over All this can put a big strain on your back, which can lead to back problems if you’re careful. You need to be especially careful when it comes to the spine and surrounding areas A good excercise regime, however will help you both minimise the chances of and fortify your muscles, which in turn will help  you to improve your perfect golf swing. Which is good news as your golf swing is the bedrock of your game, and a bad back or muscular problems can and will detract from your game.

To avoid this it is desirable to implement a golf-specific flexibility regime. Some things to bear in mind before we get going are : Implement the program a minimum of four days a week; excercise your golf fitness regime for 10-15 minutes per session; always make sure you are familiar with the techniques you study and – most significantly – always be sure that your health is good when you begin any excercise regime and consult your doctor before you begin

The   shoulders, lower back and hamstrings are often problem areas for the amateur golfer . Tense muscles in these areas often event in the golfer trying to compensate within their golf swing. So you can see that if we can take on these problem areas, we’ll be on the road to a perfect golf swing before we know it!

Any exercises need to be regularly repeated – this will – improve your muscles good habits. After starting to regularly excercise you’ll be loosening your shoulders, hips and back you’ll be letting those all important muscles to act in the ways most beneficial to improving your golf swing .
