If you’re a serious golfer it’s hard to miss the Medicus Driver info-mercials on the Golf Channel. PGA Tour stars Mark O’Meara and Camilo Villegas along with Tiger’s swing coach Hank Haney swear by this golf training aid as it practically forces you to swing the club on plane.
So can a golf training aid really detect swing faults for the average golfer and then become unhinged to provide instant feedback to the golfer? After wondering for years if this thing is the real deal, I decided to give it a try.
So I went down to my local pro shop and checked it out.
I was surprised at how heavy the club head seemed with the Medicus driver. As I started taking practice swings it felt like the thing would break in two! The more I swung it the more I began to realize just how durable this golf swing aid really is.
Then I hit some balls with my regular clubs. They felt lighter and easier to hit than normal, and that was after practicing with this training club for only a few minutes.
The truth is if you’re a golfer with flaws in your swing, the Medicus will give you instant feedback about what is wrong with your swing and how to fix the problems.
It’s true the Medicus Driver can be a bit spendy. Compared with lessons from your club pro which can run you upwards of $100/hour, the Medicus Driver is actually a very wise investment in your golf game. And we pay a lot of money to play this great game of golf, why not play your best?
And it gets better, with instant feedback from this golf training club you can fix your swing faults and not keep repeating them. What good is practice if you keep repeating the same ‘ol swing faults over and over again? In fact the more you practice without a training aid the more you’re engraining your swing faults into habit. You might think you know what you’re doing wrong, but in actuality you probably have no idea without proper feedback.
Oh, did I mention the Medicus Driver is the largest selling golf training aid ever? Over a million Medicus drivers have been sold, and that number only keeps climbing. So this club must be doing something right. Click here to check out these incredible golf training aids, and you’ll be on your way to finally improving your scores on a consistent basis. Think about how surprised your playing partners will be when they see how pure you’ll be striking the ball!
Yes, it is possible that you can correct some of your swing problems on your own. But unless you have some sort of feedback mechanism telling you what it is that you are doing wrong, most of your efforts will be wasted.
For example, you can take lessons from a golf pro, and if he or she is worth their salt you can work out some swing faults. But we all know just because we seem to have cured our swing today, when we go out for our next round, something else is a little off. This happens to the top PGA pros as well, but they can afford to have their own personal swing guru at their beckon call to fly out on a moments notice and fix any fault that may have developed in their swing.
Sure, lessons are great, but they don’t come cheap. So by paying the equivalent of a few golf lessons with a teaching pro you can own a Medicus Driver and be always checking your swing for any flaws at every practice session or when warming up before each round.
And remember, since this is a practice-only club, you could split the cost with one or two buddies and share the club between yourselves. (But don’t go in with that guy who beats you most of the time.)
And it gets even better, because the Medicus Driver not only comes with great teaching videos, you can try the club out for 60 days for only about 40 bucks after which you get a 20% discount and FREE shipping.
And to top that off you will receive a free putter training aid that helps you learn how to putt with your shoulders, just like the pros!
Do you understand what this means? Your putter and your driver are by far the two most used clubs in your bag (about half your strokes!). If you can improve in both of these areas you can finally start scoring out on the golf course and start taking some money back from THAT guy who somehow manages to beat you 8 out of 10 times by a stroke or two.
I don’t know how long this fantastic offer will be in effect, so it might be a good idea to act now and make sure you take advantage of it.
Make sure you buy the Medicus Driver from the Medicus Golf site, you’ll get FREE shipping and it will ship within 24 hours.
If you decide to buy on Ebay or Craigslist – BUYER BEWARE!! You may not get the bonuses and shipping time could take forever.
Also, if you have order issues with any of these non Medicus Golf Sites, are you confident they will be resolved in a timely manner??…
Something to think about…
Play well.

Obama likes sports?especially basketball and golf.
On the first sunny day of his Hawaiian vacation, President Obama played golf at a Marine base course on the Mokapu Pennisula with close friend Eric Whitaker and three buddies from Hawaii. The president’s motorcade traveled a few minutes from his vacation home to the golf course at the Marine Corps base in Kaneohe Bay on Saturday morning.
Framed by lush green mountains and a light blue sea, the course typically charges guests $38 for 18 holes. (There was no word whether the president was asked to cough up fees.)
The White House said Obama golfed with It was the president’s second visit to the military base Saturday — he and First Lady Michelle Obama worked out before sunrise, as they did on Christmas Day.
While Obama was known for his basketball prowess on the campaign trail, he’s gravitated to golf since becoming president. The Wall Street Journal reported in November that he’d played only seven known games of basketball since taking office, and 25 rounds of golf. The White House explained in response that golf got the president outside.
a joke:
One day Jane met Tarzan in the jungle. She was very attracted to him and, during her questions about his life, she asked him how he managed for sex. “What’s that?” he asked. She explained to him what sex was hair styles, and he said, “Oh,Tarzan use hole in trunk of tree.”
Horrified, she said, “Tarzan you have that all wrong! I will show you how to do it properly.” She took off her clothes, lay down on the ground, and spread her legs wide. “Here,” she said, pointing, “You must put it in here.”
Tarzan removed his loincloth, stepped closer and then gave her an almighty kick in the crotch. Jane rolled around in agony. Eventually she managed to gasp, “Why the hell did you do that?”
“Tarzan check for bees!”
happy day!

The end-of-year world rankings are out, and they make pretty clear who are the stars of 2009 and who are the flops.
Into the game’s top 10 from a year ago have come Northern Ireland’s 20-year-old Rory McIlroy, England’s Paul Casey and Americans Steve Stricker, Jim Furyk and Kenny Perry.
Out go Sergio Garcia, Vijay Singh, Robert Karlsson, Camilo Villegas and Ernie Els.
The biggest climbers are USPGA champion YE Yang, who started the season 478th and finishes it at 31st, and Italian Edoardo Molinari, who has climbed from 653rd to 48th.
The biggest fallers are 2008 Masters champion Trevor Immelman, who suffered a wrist injury and crashed from 20th to 133rd, Australian Aaron Baddeley (36th to 139th) and Swede Carl Pettersson (62nd to 212th).
Tiger Woods stayed at the top all year, but came close to losing the world number one spot in March as a result of his eight-month lay-off following knee surgery and the gap is bound to close again now that he has announced an indefinite break to try to sort out his personal life.
As Woods approaches his 34th birthday on December 30 – not much to celebrate, you would think, either for him or his wife Elin when she turns 30 on New Year’s Day – it is interesting to note that the majority of players in the world’s top 50 are now younger than him.
Chief among them, of course, are McIlroy, up from 39th to ninth, and 18-year-old Ryo Ishikawa, who has climbed from 60th to 30th.
Best Putt of Decade was Crowned for 2008 U.S. Open
But the old guys still had their moments. Kenny Perry, 50 next June, almost won the Masters and, far more amazingly, Tom Watson nearly captured a sixth Open title two months before he reached 60.
From a European perspective the biggest disappointment had to be Garcia. He started 2009 second in the rankings and had a chance to topple Woods, but never managed a top-three finish all year.
Yet Ryder Cup captain Colin Montgomerie, himself down from 121st to 252nd, still has cause for optimism about the match at Celtic Manor in October with five likely team members in the game’s top 10 and nine in the top 20.
Moreover, 26 Europeans have already booked places in the Masters in April.
That list includes one Welshman (Ian Woosnam), one Scot (Sandy Lyle), two Northern Irish (McIlroy and Graeme McDowell), one Irish (Padraig Harrington) and eight English – Casey, Simon Dyson, Luke Donald, Ross Fisher, Ian Poulter, Oliver Wilson, Lee Westwood and Chris Wood, who like Dyson will be making his debut.
There will be also be three Italians, World Cup-winning brothers Francesco and Edoardo Molinari being joined by British amateur champion Matteo Manassero, who at 16 will be the youngest player ever to appear at Augusta.
Whether Woods will be there too remains to be seen. The problems that he faces – when will he be seen in public again for a start? – inevitably dominate the golf agenda heading into a new decade.

Richard and Mayumi Heene were sentenced to jail this week. Ninety days for the husband, 20 days for the wife.
Our news cycle being what it is, you have probably already forgotten that the heinous Heenes are parents of the Balloon Boy, the 6-year-old who touched off an international story while safely hidden away in his attic.
Fitting that while the first decade of this century was dribbling away, the mendacious Eldrick “The Weasel” Woods (The Golfer Formerly Known as Tiger) was watching his marriage and his endorsement deals fall apart, the Heenes were preparing for jail, Bernie Madoff was already in jail and George W. Bush was as invisible as it is possible to be for a man who was president of the United States only 11 months ago.
Such is the unravelling of the Decade of Deception. Of fabrication, mendacity and untruth. Of Enron and Bernie Madoff, Earl Jones and Vincent Lacroix. Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens. And the filthy rich bankers of Wall St., who came up with a filthy lie – renamed toxic assets as “derivatives” and very nearly brought the global economy to its knees.
Richard Heene, small-time schemer, thought he had it figured out. The rationale was mind-bending: Come up with a sufficiently large hoax and he could get his family onto “reality” TV, which is a whopper of a lie in the first place.
Heene’s problem? Too small a lie. To profit from this mendacious decade, you had to tell lies so large that the rest of the world had no choice but to swallow them. Fibs so all-encompassing that when your phony investment scheme begins to crumble, you are deemed too big to fail.
Like the lies told by Woods and his team of spin artists. When I wrote a column about Woods a week ago, I was stunned by the response – more than 300 emails and they’re still trickling in.
Very few disagreed with my take on Woods as the sham of the decade, the man who was a huckster first and everything else second. Some condemned his womanizing, although, in truth, the women who have come forward so far don’t constitute an unusual total for a professional athlete.
Many more were upset by the hypocrisy. This is a man whose billion-dollar earnings were built on endorsements first, with golf a distant second.
Woods was the greatest huckster of the decade because of his squeaky-clean image. It helped that people who play golf are well-heeled, but it was important that Woods seemed so perfect. Good-looking, multiracial, soft-spoken (except for the petulant tantrums), flawless in his personal life. And there was that 1,000-watt smile.
When it all came undone after wife Elin Nordegren took a golf club to his SUV, we discovered that Woods was perfectly in step with the decade of the big lie. He was not what he seemed, not remotely.
Which made him pretty much like everyone else – or at least those with money and power who spent the past 10 years acquiring more money and more power, mostly by piling one lie atop another.
Weapons of mass destruction? There were none – but the Bush administration kept lying about them all the way to Baghdad. Nearly seven years later, President Barack Obama is still trying to disentangle the United States from a mess that has cost the lives of almost 5,000 coalition soldiers and tens of thousands of Iraqis.
Enron? To this day, no one knows what it was that Enron really did, other than siphon money into the pockets of its top executives. Yet (as Frank Rich pointed out in the New York Times last weekend) the editors of Fortune Magazine voted Enron the most innovative company in the United States six years running.
Enron was a shell of a company. There was no there there. The company produced nothing, owned nothing, accomplished nothing except to bring the state of California to the brink of bankruptcy.
How many of the biggest names in sports in the past decade were phony as three-dollar bills? Barry Bonds, Marion Jones, Roger Clemens, Mark McGwire, Manny Ramirez. Now Woods himself has been linked to Anthony Galea, a Canadian physician who uses and dispenses HGH – human growth hormone.
A coincidence? If there is one thing we have learned from the past decade, it’s that where there is smoke, there is fire.
Lies aren’t birthed in a vacuum. Liars thrive because they fill a need, because people want to believe.
Bernie Madoff, the biggest swindler of the decade, did it by feeding people what they want. Investors want to believe they can get a 20-per-cent return on their dollar, year after year. Golf fans wanted to believe that Tiger Woods was perfect. Home-owners wanted to believe that housing prices would go up forever.
And far too many in this country, as well as south of the border, want to believe that a television network that labels itself as a news outlet is really delivering news. But as soon as you say “Fox News,” you have already told the first lie. “Fox Propaganda” would be more accurate.
Like most big-time lying, the distortions at Fox are backed by massive corporate money. Money is where the lies begin and it works in insidious ways. The BlackBerry ad uses the Beatles tune All You Need Is Love to push a message exactly the opposite of the one the Beatles intended. If love is all you need, then why do you need a BlackBerry?
Unfortunately, the lying will go on because the rewards are great, real punishment rare. Just this week,
Peter Hadekel pointed out in these pages the inadequacy of the fines levied on a group of Canadian banks and investment dealers who sold $32 billion worth of toxic asset-backed commercial paper. The fines totalled $138.8 million, a fraction of the worth of “assets” that weren’t assets at all.
At the beginning of this decade, I wondered aloud what we were going to call the first 10 years of the new millennium. The Aughts? Naughts? Zips? Nothings? After 10 years of systematic, percolating, corrosive lies, the appellation is simple. The only name that fits the past decade is the Zeros.
Soon we will face the Teens. And the first thing we can look for is the slick, carefully orchestrated “rehabilitation” of Weasel Woods (including the obligatory weepy appearance on Oprah), a public remake for which his millions of lobotomized fans are audibly panting – to be followed by a brand-new, global Nike campaign.

PGA Tour Swing - Tiger Woods [VIDEO]
Watch this slow motion PGA tour swing video analysis of Tiger’s swing. Notice how Tiger uses his spine as a stable axis which keeps him on the correct swing plane.
Tiger has minimum lower body coil with an incredible shoulder turn – he does this coiling around a stable spine giving him what top PGA tour swing instructor Jim McLean calls “mucho X-factor”!
Because Tiger is so stacked at the top of his golf swing, he generates an incredible amount of power on the downswing – a pure PGA tour swing if there ever was one!
So what can you learn from Tiger’s swing?
In a nutshell – “swing around a stable spine”
Watch how stable Tiger keeps his spine during the backswing as he coils up like a cobra.
So you’re probably asking yourself right now if there is a golf teaching system where you can learn how to swing the golf club just like a PGA tour pro.
A system that teaches you how to swing around a stable spine – just like the number one PGA tour golfer on the planet – Tiger Woods!
Believe or not my fellow fairway farmer, there is a golf training system that teaches a bullet-proof swing any golfer, regardless of ability, can learn very quickly and easily.
Learn the whole system in about three hours. And two weeks later, you’ll be playing killer golf.
With this PGA tour swing system almost any golfer can break 80 regardless of physical ability.

Whenever you step on to the golf course you have as much chance of winning as anyone and this should instil a level of confidence into players of all ability. Every golfer wants to reduce his or her handicap as this shows that your game is improving. The problem is the amount of time you have to practise and improve may not be much.
As with other sports practise makes perfect and unless you are born with a natural talent then you have to work at it week in, week out. Even the professionals and best players in the world have had to train and practise to be where they are today. One of the main problems when starting out, and even for more experienced golfers for that matter is confidence.
Confidence is definitely required and in order to be the best you must believe in your ability. If you play a bad shot or misjudge the distance then put it down to experience, learn from it and move on. You cannot dwell on what may have been in golf as if you are not fully concentrating then you are likely to hit a poor next shot. In the UK the weather can change quickly so what may have been enough to reach the green on one hole may come up short on the next. This is something that you will learn to judge as you improve your game.
Your swing is obviously something that you need to work on as that is going to determine how straight you are going to hit the ball. If you can start driving the ball well then this sets up an easier second shot which in turn gets you in a better position on the green. On your drive you do not need to try and take the skin off the ball as it is more about technique than power. I’m not saying power doesn’t help but all power and no technique will mean you are driving into the trees and bunkers more often than the fairway.
Make sure your swing for all shots is a comfortable one and follow through to ensure you strike the ball well. It is a slowly but surely tactic needed in golf and staying calm and having belief in your ability will see your golf handicap come down over time. Who knows you may be facing the likes of Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy before you know it.
All golfers want to reduce their golf handicap, it will take longer for some than others depending on the time you are able to spend practising. Use the golf handicap calculator after a round to see where you are.
Bob Brightside is an experienced author in the sports field having worked in the industry for many years.
